Old soul.

Consolidated Thoughts: July, 2009

  • I once spoke to a wise, drunken homeless man that told me: “Learn how to live off the land, brother.”
  • It took me a long minute to understand what exactly he was talking about.
  • Through trials and tribulations, his advice became apparent.
  • When you get down to brass tacks, it is quite simple.
  • Why is it that Death & Taxes is always certain?
  • I imagine that once the first thinker broke it all the way down, the ‘no brainer’ became apparent.
  • I also imagine that the first thinker understood the power of simplicity.
  • Furthermore, I believe that those that simplify thought, are the same that change the world for the good of the people.
  • Revolution is not for the faint.

Consolidated thoughts: Mayo, 2009

  • Once the party is turned on, why turn it off?
  • As cliché as this sounds, who will argue this point?
  • Turn on. Tune in. Drop out. Blow up. Burn out. Fade away. Same difference.
  • I now believe that it is fear that is man’s ultimate driving force; As it is his greatest undoing.
  • This is to say that laziness can easily, albeit stubbornly, be persuaded.
  • Matter of fact: It is our direct participation in life that emphasizes our existence.
  • Why not do something influential?
  • After all, It takes a certain amount of soul to live the life.
  • And who doesn’t want to be heard?
  • Think slowly. Choose wisely. Live lively.

Consolidated Thoughts: January, 2009

  • Drunk people are not all that interesting.
  • Drink less.
  • Kill your T.V.
  • Skate more.
  • Space and Time are malleable.
  • Malleable : Pliable : Bent

Consolidated Thoughts: September, 2008

  • It seems that September tends to be a disastrous month.
  • Cabin fever is very real.
  • Too much time with family can drive you crazy.
  • It is important to unplug from technology every now and then. Otherwise, you risk the possibility of becoming a tool.
  • I dislike putting music into genres.
  • If you feel it and it moves you, then it’s good music.
  • If it makes you do what you damn well please, then it’s damn good music.
  • I have since learned that it is best to get out of your own way.

Consolidated Thoughts: May, 2008

  • It’s heavy getting a head together.
  • It’s even heavier when you’re sick.
  • It’s beneficial to take time, every now-again, to see what you’ve become; which is to say, mind yourself.
  • It’s tough to think clearly when there is a lot on the mind.
  • Life is a constant cycle. For me, May is usually the ‘burden’ month, because I’m trying to get things in-line for the summer.

Consolidated Thoughts: April, 2008

  • After a long burn (study, experience, etc.), I think it’s beneficial to brain dump. However, it is far more important to maintain that knowledge after doing so.
  • A brain dump is pretty much writing (dumping) all the information in your mind at the time.
  • It is not cheating if you brain dump on a test!
  • I may have Restless Leg Syndrome, cause I keeps it movin’!
  • Killing an ego is harder than you think.
  • Save yourself.
  • Skunk road-kill smells like high-grade.

  • Maceo is the go-to guy.
  • Yes, man needs a Woman.
  • Holla!
  • Editing is a painful, meticulous undertaking. And I Love it.
  • Politickin’ is NOT easy.
  • Keeping up appearances is key.
  • I have this theory: If the whole World would play ‘Exodus’ by Bob Marley, and ‘Why Can’t We Be Friends,’ by WAR, back-to-back, at the same time, in unison; then there would be World Peace (for at least 10 minutes).
  • If a girl gives you a hug with a pat on the back, then you’re dismissed.
  • If she gives you a hug and pulls you closer, then you’re invited.
  • If you’re a spy, don’t touch your earpiece.
  • There is always work to be done.
  • I’ve learned that when you’re Honest, you’re open for discrimination; especially by those that you love.
  • Do NOT trust anyone that ALWAYS agrees with you.
  • I would trust a pot-head before I trust an alcoholic.
  • Race is still a determining factor.
  • Deter… Determine.
  • america. amerikkka. amero.
  • I’m pretty good at what I do, whatever the case may be. I know that I could guarantee my work. Otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it.
  • My niece is way more clever than I will ever be.

Consolidated Thoughts: March, 2008

  • I don’t necessarily gain any joy from lol, sitting in front of a computer; I do, however, enjoy a hearty laugh with friends and family.
  • OMG, y r we rotfl neway? We should be standing up, speaking properly for what we believe in.
  • BTW, ignorance is still bliss.
  • (It took me two years before I found out what BTW means! And when I did, I felt like a complete idiot.)
  • If you ever feel low, just watch one of the following movies: The Goonies, Shogun Assassin, Plan B—Questionable. I guarantee, you’ll feel better within the first five minutes of viewing!
  • I don’t necessarily like to promise anything; nor do I like doing ‘favors,’ or ‘solids’ for people.
  • Guarantee is a weird word to spell; so is necessarily
  • Sleep is a luxury. Use it wisely.
  • Contradiction can be very useful in an argument; however, it can be very detrimental if you’re arguing with yourself.
  • Why are you arguing with yourself anyway? Don’t ask me why, I’m trying to figure that out myself.
  • Contra is one of my favorite games.
  • My mind often drifts. It’s a good thing.
  • I stand at the back of the club in my b-boy stance because my ears are my money.
  • Sunday. A day of rest. A day of reflection. A day of celebration.
  • Peter Gabriel is a bad-ass! So is Fela Kuti. Bowie ain’t so bad either!
  • History repeats. So it’s best to be in the know.
  • Tom is a tool. Myspace is a circus.
  • Today is one of those days.
